In line with its commitment to fostering cooperation and unlocking promising investment prospects, H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hanad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), held a meeting with H.E. Abdelkrim Boulzard, Minister of Finance of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The meeting took place during an official visit by Dr. Al Zaabi to Algeria on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
The discussions focused on enhancing strategic partnerships between AAAID and Algerian government institutions, in addition to identifying potential areas for collaboration with the Algerian business community. These efforts align with AAAID’s vision to promote sustainable agricultural development and strengthen food security across the Arab world.
During the meeting, Dr. Al Zaabi emphasized the Authority’s commitment to establishing diverse partnerships with both the public and private sectors in Algeria. He highlighted Algeria as a promising partner on the African continent, endowed with significant economic, industrial, and technological capabilities that offer broad prospects for regional integration and sustainable development in the agri-food sector.
This visit comes as part of AAAID’s ongoing strategy to expand Arab joint cooperation and unlock new investment opportunities in agriculture, contributing to comprehensive development and serving the interests of Arab nations.
