The AAAID contributes to the capital of 53 agricultural companies, 37 of which are existing companies, and 16 projects are under establishment and implementation. Distributed across 12 Arab countries, the activities of these companies cover agriculture and livestock production and focus on basic commodities such as sugar, vegetable oils, meat, grains, eggs, dairy and fodder. They also provide more than 115,000 employment opportunities. The AAAID effectively follows up on the activities of its affiliate companies to ensure effective governance, transparency and the adoption of the highest standards of performance.
