Focusing on innovation and new technologies, the AAAID develops projects, improves the quality of production and expands the areas under cultivation, and has, therefore, established research stations in the vicinity of these projects in order to apply new findings on agricultural production in the field. The AAAID has also succeeded in establishing new crops in Arab countries, developed innovations for the reclamation of high salinity soil, increased the productivity of arable Arab land, reduced endemic diseases in several countries, increased national capacities to eradicate crop pests, as well as providing training to improve the skills of agricultural workers.
