H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), today received, H.E. Ahmed bin Sultan Al Jahafi, Chairman of the Industry Committee at Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at AAAID’s head office.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between AAAID and Oman Chamber, and to maximize the utilization of investment opportunities in areas related to food security in the Sultanate of Oman. The discussions aimed to create new avenues for investment and to foster agricultural economic growth in the coming period.
H.E. Dr. Al Zaabi underscored the importance of strengthening ties with the Omani business community, highlighting AAAID’s pivotal role in supporting sustainable agricultural investments and developing innovative projects that serve food security and reinforce Arab partnerships.
The meeting came as part of AAAID’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with key institutions across the Arab world, deepen economic integration among member states, and explore promising investment opportunities in the agricultural sector, contributing to enhanced bilateral cooperation and the achievement of sustainable development goals.
The session concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to continued coordination, the development of joint action plans, and the formulation of a roadmap for future investment opportunities in the field of food security.
