AAAID Reviews APMAC’s Operations During Field Visit

As part of its ongoing commitment to monitoring its subsidiaries and ensuring operational efficiency, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) conducted a field visit to the Arab Company for Production and Preservation of Crops (APMAC), one of its leading subsidiaries specialized in drying, preserving, processing, and packaging agricultural crops.

The visit was led by Mr. Talal Wishah, Director of the Direct Investment Department, accompanied by a team from AAAID. During the visit, the delegation met with APMAC’s management to review the company’s operational status and ensure that production lines are fully prepared to receive raw materials and operate at full capacity, thereby ensuring efficient and continuous production and storage operations.

The field tour included inspections of production lines, storage, and packaging units, allowing the delegation to assess the company’s infrastructure, align it with best industrial practices, and identify future requirements to enhance operational efficiency and support logistics processes vital to food security.

APMAC’s management emphasized the importance of a strategic operational partnership with AAAID as a key driver for strengthening production capabilities and improving performance, in line with the Authority’s vision to enhance value addition in the agricultural and food sectors.

This visit reflects AAAID’s continuous efforts to monitor its subsidiaries and explore optimal ways to strengthen agricultural value chains and contribute to enhancing Arab food security.
