To strengthen joint cooperation in the fields of agricultural and food investment, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), and his accompanying delegation visited Al Fahhad Holding Group, where they met with Sheikh Fahhad Soliman Al-Fahhad, Chairman of the Group, and His Excellency Engineer Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they discussed possible areas of cooperation between AAAID and the Group in the fields of agricultural and food investment, particularly in the livestock, meat and veterinary services sectors, which would contribute to supporting the Arab food security system. His Excellency Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi emphasized that AAAID seeks to strengthen its partnerships with the private sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, given its advanced operational and administrative capabilities.
Following the meeting, the AAAID’s delegation conducted a field tour of a number of the Group’s projects, including Salam Veterinary Company and Waleem Meat Factory, where they were briefed on the work and production system and the technologies used in the manufacturing and supply stages.
At the end of the visit, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint work to develop sustainable investment projects that contribute to achieving Arab food security.
