The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) participated in the Bahraini-Moroccan Business Forum, held on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The event took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Bahraini capital, Manama. The AAAID delegation was headed by Dr. Abdelilah Belatik, Counsellor and Chief of Strategic Transformation and Investment. The forum was organized by AlShall Consulting under the auspices of the Bahraini Ministry of Industry and Commerce, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
AAAID’s participation was driven by its keenness to strengthen its presence in regional and international forums, attract quality investment opportunities, promote its services and projects dedicated to supporting Arab food security, and build strategic partnerships with Arab public and private sector institutions.
The forum was attended by a select group of officials, representatives of government agencies, chambers of commerce, and business associations in Bahrain, as well as a large number of Moroccan companies operating in the food manufacturing sector. Discussions focused on the importance of strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco, and reviewing opportunities for integration in the agricultural and food sectors.
