About The Council
The Investment Advisory Council was established at the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) pursuant to a decision issued by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board, to serve as an independent advisory body providing counsel and recommendations on investment proposals and conducting periodic reviews of AAAID’s investment portfolio, encompassing both direct investments and investment funds.
The Council brings together a distinguished group of experts of diverse nationalities and professional backgrounds, with specialized expertise in investment, financial markets, and governance, enriching the Council’s work with a broad range of experience and perspective.

Strategic Plan
The Council operates in accordance with an approved annual strategic plan, prepared on the basis of the Council’s amended bylaws and in line with AAAID’s 2026–2030 strategy. The plan guides the Council’s work for the year and strengthens its advisory role in supporting the Chairman of the Board through independent technical and strategic counsel on investment, financing, risk management, governance, and strategic partnerships.
