The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) held its third Board of Directors meeting and meetings of its committees for 2026, chaired by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board, with the participation of members of the Board of Directors and the chairpersons and members of the Authority’s specialised committees. The meetings were held at AAAID’s head office.
The meetings considered a number of matters on the agenda and took the necessary decisions and issued relevant directives, as part of the Authority’s ongoing oversight of its operations and efforts to strengthen institutional and investment performance.
The Board also reviewed updates on the Authority’s activities and the performance of its investment portfolio, as well as a number of matters related to its plans and priorities for the next phase. The discussions focused on supporting the continued development of the Authority’s performance and strengthening its ability to respond to evolving economic conditions and developments across the Arab food security landscape.
The meetings form part of the Authority’s regular governance and oversight cycle, supporting effective investment management and the implementation of its strategic priorities, while advancing its contribution to food security and sustainable development across its Arab member states.
