The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) concluded its participation in Global Food Week 2026 in Abu Dhabi, which brought together government entities, research institutions, international organisations and companies operating across the food and agribusiness sectors to exchange expertise and explore opportunities for cooperation, innovation and investment.
During the event, AAAID held a series of meetings and visited the pavilions of participating entities and institutions. On the first day, H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of AAAID, held a number of meetings and visited several pavilions. Dr. Abdelilah Belatik, Executive Director of the Investment Sector, continued these engagements throughout the event, facilitating the exchange of perspectives and the exploration of investment and financing opportunities and partnerships that support food security.
AAAID’s participation also provided an opportunity to highlight its expertise in investment and development across agricultural and food value chains, as well as its role in leveraging partnerships and financing to strengthen productive capacity and translate investment opportunities into projects with sustainable economic and development impact. These efforts contribute to advancing food security and promoting the sustainable use of resources across the Arab region.
