His Excellency Mohammed bin Obaid Al Mazrowei – President of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) received Mr. Jose Khoury -Commercial Attache of the State of Ecuador and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was held in AAAID regional office in Dubai on Thursday 20 Aug 2015.
His Excellency Al Mazrowei welcomed the visit and listened to a detailed presentation on the State of Ecuador.
For his part, H.E reviewed AAAID activities in the area of agricultural investment and opportunities in investing with AAAID. H.E admired the successful achievements of Ecuador in the field of agriculture. Thus, he expressed AAAID interest in the field of aquaculture investment, particularly shrimp production.
The Ecuadorian Attache confirmed that they are willing to communicate and give full cooperation in the common areas and future projects especially aquaculture, stressing that Ecuador has the comparative and competitive advantage in this area and has the best experts and laboratories that support the prosperity of this successful investment activity.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to communicate and work to find common points of work in the field of agricultural investment to consolidate the investment relationship between AAAID and the State of Ecuador.
