‘On World Food Day 2025, we at the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) renew our commitment to supporting efforts to achieve food security in the Arab world and to promoting sustainable agricultural production systems, in line with the climatic and economic challenges facing the food sector regionally and globally.’
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of AAAID, said that this day is an opportunity to highlight the importance of agricultural integration among Arab countries and the need to develop food supply chains and increase the efficiency of agricultural investments, thereby contributing to providing safe and sufficient food for our peoples.
‘Through its strategic partnerships and funding for innovative agricultural projects, AAAID continues to support initiatives that promote local production, provide employment opportunities in rural areas, and stimulate the use of modern agricultural technology, in line with the 2030 Sustainable Development Vision in member states.’
‘On this occasion, we call for greater coordination and cooperation between governments, the private sector, and regional and international organizations in order to build a food system that is resilient to crises and ensures a secure food future for generations to come.’
