His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), met with His Excellency Dr. Diaa Youssef, Founder & CEO of Agri Cash, to discuss potential collaboration in digital agricultural finance solutions and support for smallholder farmers across Egypt and the Arab region. The meeting was attended by AAAID representatives and senior officials from Agri Cash.
During the discussions, both parties reviewed potential areas of cooperation, including the creation of a dedicated financing portfolio for farmers, exploring capital or operational contributions by AAAID’s affiliated companies in Egypt, potential equity participation by AAAID in Agri Cash, and establishing a financing portfolio for sugar beet suppliers to Fayoum Sugar Company.
His Excellency Dr. Al Zaabi emphasized AAAID’s commitment to expanding strategic and technological partnerships with leading Arab companies, noting that innovative initiatives in digital agricultural finance are crucial to enhancing food security and supporting sustainable agricultural development in the region.
In response, His Excellency Dr. Youssef expressed appreciation for AAAID’s interest in collaborative opportunities, affirming that Agri Cash is ready to implement innovative projects that create tangible value for both farmers and investors.
The meeting aligns with AAAID’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with emerging and promising companies in digital finance and smart agriculture, contributing to the development of modern agricultural ecosystems across the Arab world.
