The Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) Signs a MoU with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), to launch the Arab Agricultural Transformation Fund, an innovative financing mechanism aimed at accelerating the transformation of agri-food systems in the Arab region and strengthening sustainable food security.
The MoU was signed on behalf of AAAID by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board, and on behalf of FAO by Mr. Ahmad Mukhtar, FAO Representative to the United Arab Emirates. The MoU was signed on the margins of the Conference on Initiatives to Achieve Food Security in the Arab World, organized by AAAID in Dubai on 4 February 2026, with high-level participation from decision-makers and regional and international partners, under the gracious patronage of the Ministry of Finance of the United Arab Emirates.
