The Board of Directors of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) held its second meeting of 2026 at its main office on June 12, 2026. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the AAAID Board, and attended by the esteemed Board members.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed and approved several new investment and development projects across Arab countries. These projects are part of AAAID’s ongoing efforts to boost agricultural and food investments and support Arab food security.
The Board also reviewed the progress of implementing the resolutions and recommendations from the 50th Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. Additionally, they discussed corporate governance and ways to improve the Authority’s regulatory frameworks.
The Board reaffirmed AAAID’s commitment to supporting sustainable and high-impact agricultural and food investments. These efforts aim to strengthen food security and boost economic development across the Arab region.
