A visit was conducted by H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, President of AAAID, and an accompanying delegation to the Syrian Arab Republic during 19-22 March, 2023, during which a number of significant meetings were held with H.E. Eng. Hussein Arnous, Prime Minister, H.E. Dr. Faisal Al Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Kenan Yaghi, Minister of Finance, H.E. Dr. Amr Nazir Salem, Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, H.E. Eng. Mohammed Hassan Qatana, Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, H.E. Ziyad Sabbagh, Minister of Industry, H.E. Ms. Rania Khader Ahmed, Assistant Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade for Economic Development and International Relations, H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Zanboua, Governor of Hama, H.E. Mr. Muhammad Kishto, Head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Agriculture, and H.E. Muhammad Abu Al-Huda Al-Lahham, President of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce.
Additionally, H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Obaid Al Mazrooei, President of AAAID, and an accompanying delegation recently conducted a field visit to Al-Ahliah Vegetable Oil Company and to Arab Company for the Manufacturing of Advanced Irrigation Equipment (MAIE) in order to review the development of the company and its operation conditions.
On the other hand, AAAID’s delegation visits the Syrian Arab Company for the Development of Agricultural Products (Gadak), and meets with the company’s shareholders to review its operation conditions and development plans.
During the meetings, H.E. AAAID’s President introduced about AAAID, its companies, projects under establishment and implementation, and investments in Syria, in addition to addressing the challenges facing the companies to which AAAID contributes in Syria, as well as reviewing the investment opportunities in the agricultural field.
