As part of enhancing cooperation and coordinating efforts to support sustainable development goals and explore future prospects, H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Board of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), received H.E. Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, on Monday, November 4, 2024, at AAAID headquarters in Dubai.
H.E. Chairman of the Board welcomed the Director General of the Dubai Land Department and provided him with an overview of the AAAID’s strategy, programs, activities, vision, mission, goals, and investments in Arab countries, as well as the sectors it operates in and its contributions to supporting and enhancing food security. In turn, the Director General expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Chairman for the opportunity to meet, praising the efforts and projects of AAAID in bridging the food gap.
The meeting discussed ways of mutual cooperation between AAAID and the Land Department, and explored future plans for potential collaboration between the two parties.
At the end of the meeting, H.E. the Chairman of the Board honored Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita by presenting him with AAAID’s Trophy, in appreciation of the significant role played by the Dubai Land Department in strengthening the real estate sector’s position and enhancing its leading role both regionally and globally.
