Based on Administrative Decision issued by H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Hamad Al Zaabi, Chairman of AAAID Board of Directors, the Investment Advisory Council (IAC) has been established. The Council aims to provide opinions and recommendations on investment proposals and to periodically monitor the Authority’s investment portfolio (direct investments and investment funds).
The AAAID IAC includes experts of various nationalities and professional backgrounds, with relevant specializations in financial markets, investment, and governance. The council members are: H.E. Sherif Samir Mahmoud Samy – Chairman of the Council, and members include H.E. Dr. Abdelilah Belatik, H.E. Dr. Salman bin Saleh bin Salman Al-Duhailan, H.E. Mohamed Ali Yassin, and H.E. Dr. Salah Abdullah Osman Yousif Al-Othman.
On Monday, May 6, 2024, the regional headquarters of AAAID in Dubai hosted the inaugural meeting of the Investment Advisory Council (IAC) for the year 2024. During this meeting, a variety of key topics on the AAAID’s activities in direct investments and investment funds were presented and discussed. The meeting concluded with several important recommendations, that will be the focus of discussion in the next IAC meeting.
